Sandeep Mercia.

Assistant Professor of Science, Technology, and Society at Stevens Institute of Technology, USA. He is an ICT engineer turned historian and anthropologist of computing. 

His publications include »Lives of Data: Essays on Computational Cultures from India« (2020) and »Putting Data Justice in Context« (with Tone Walford and Catarine Marowska, forthcoming). His current book project, »A Bubbly Horizon: Techno-futurity and Failure in Startup India,« examines the imaginaries, infrastructures, and practices of digital future-making at the intersection of the state and start-ups. His next project, »Languages in/of Automation,« focuses on epistemic and linguistic cultures of computing in multilingual large language models.
